No matter what this driver looks like the thing just performs. And like always Ping just seems to put one consistent driver out after another.

Even though we were not big fans of the graphics, the ping g15 driver did have some improvements over some of the their past driver designs. Several of my friends play the G15 and they all love it. I’ve seen them hitting more fairways than they used to and maybe gaining a modicum of distance too. Like its predecessor, the G15 is a 460cc titanium driver meant for golfers seeking maximum forgiveness. This is where the similarities end, however. With the G15, and for the first time, PING's esthetics may have matched their technology. Golfers always want to try what someone else has got if they are hitting it well. Although, the distance is most likely a result of their increased confidence rather than some magic dust poured over the clubface. Mind you, in golf confidence is magic dust and we could all use an extra burst from that particular spray gun. And that is how Ping’s drivers usually move off the shelf and into golfers bags.

PING irons aren't suppose to be forged. When I think of ping anser irons the following design features come to mind: investment cast, moderate offset, industrial grey Guyson finish, healthy topline, wider soles. There is also support bar right through the middle of the face that connects the back flange to the face to stabilize the face and improves feel, providing a soft, quiet feel. The Anser is a special club for the serious golfer looking to enjoy a unique set of irons not many will see. Reduced offset on these cavity backs over most of Ping’s irons are a pleasant surprise. The offset of the 5 iron is .17” compared to the i15 with .19”. They also have a softer feel. Those characteristics mixed in with these heads are a winner for me. While the tungsten weight and milling lower the cog, making it easier to hit it higher, the ball doesn't rise up into the sky and ballon. After repeated days of demo we loved the sole design and had little negative effect on playability. I was puzzled and expected worst to be honest.

Additionally, PING has done a very good job of hiding the wide sole at address; providing a clean, thin look that resembles more of a Eye2 iron than G15. While the look of the iron might not seem radically different than the G15, the benefits of the G20 lie deeper than just it’s looks.  With the thinner face and a deeper cut in the back cavity, the engineers were able to lower the center of gravity and pull weight further back for added stability upon impact. The ping g20 irons are available from 3 iron all the way through lob wedge (58*) so that golfers can create a set with fewer gaps in loft and better continuity in feel and performance. The G20 irons are available from 3 iron all the way through lob wedge (58*) so that golfers can create a set with fewer gaps in loft and better continuity in feel and performance. When the poorest performer is removed from the equation, our most accurate testers missed the center line by 17.88 feet; an increase of almost 4 feet when compared to the PING G20 short irons.

It’s all relative I suppose, and for my money, the G20′s are actually a step up from previous G-series designs.  You can visit the golf365. for more details if you really want to buy.
